So.. what Bermuda secrets am I talking about? Well the spots of majestic beauty! The little hidden crystal clear beaches with their speckled pink flakes of coral, the lagoons where you can splash with dolphins, and some of my favorite cruises, hotels, restaurants and activities..
If you really want to get to the heart and soul of this tiny island or simply have a great vacation, I can help you make informed decisions about things to do through a 10 year passion of the Island! If you can't find it on this website, which is currently in progress, just send me a mail and I'd be happy to answer :)
But first this is a lovely video exploring some of the island gems. I hope you enjoy it.
As the 19th century American humorist Mark Twain said, “You go to heaven if you want, I’d rather stay here.” I think I might second that!
When you first arrive, I bet you'll be initially surprised at just how friendly people are here! It takes some getting used to (especially if your coming from a big city) In fact while strolling along one of this petite islands few roads, enjoying the smell of the warm fresh sea air, friendly locals often stop to offer to take tourists where needed. Have you ever heard of Mr. Happy Man? Take a look :)
Location and Bermuda Map
This beautiful tropical-island, is known as the Somers Islands due to Sir Admiral George Somers colonizing them for Britain. With its blue-green waters and diverse flora specimens, it is sometimes hard to believe that this peaceful island is just a 2.5 hour flight from New York...

The island itself is only 21 miles long by 2 miles wide. It truly does feel like the plane is going to land in the middle of the ocean when landing! It is made up of 181 small islands joined by bridges which appear to have a fish hook shape.
The airport is located at the northern tip of the island whereas the cruise ships usually call in at the Royal Naval Dockyard at the western side of the island either at Kings Wharf or the newer Heritage Wharf pier.
